By your active horses, and nothing else. Up to 15 is Small, up to 45 is Medium, beyond that is Large. Riders, clients, helpers and staff are never counted.
A horse that is in work — not archived or retired. Resting a horse for a while does not change your plan; retiring it can.
No. Every plan includes the entire product. The horse band changes the price, never the feature set.
You will see a clear prompt to move up, and you only pay the difference from that point. Nothing breaks and nothing is charged behind your back.
